Amazing Women

I spent an hour and a half today with an amazing group of women.  The CanSurvive meeting was held this month at the Doubletree Hotel.  The lunch was fabulous - scrumptious fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and a yummy dessert.  The food was great but the highlight of the luncheon meeting was being with these brave women.  Everyone is greeted with a hug and a smile.  The love and support they feel for one another is inspirational. ...

Nursing is Caring

Many of you are familiar with what I do for a living, but for those of you who don't let me tell you a little about my choosed career. I am an Intensive Care Registered Nurse. I take care of people at one of their greatest times of need. I love every minute of it, but don't get me wrong- there are definitely tough times.
